by Sharon Katta & Nāt
On the path toward finding Home, there are moments where detachment feels like the only way to endure. Detachment Theory captures this pivotal chapter—a reflection on the void between our hearts and minds and the emotional walls we build to shield ourselves from pain. It almost reflects the complexity of healing.
Verse:( Sharon)
Sail on
The sun is just half way down
Baby, Sail on
Before the stars fall down
Verse: (Nāt)
Stay Down
Before the waves crash light
Stay drowned
There’s always a night to shine
Pre-Chorus: (Sharon)
So today
Gather your thoughts & tie these signs.
Show the way
Unpleasant Prison, calls out for life.
(Calls out)
Present is always passing
It came and now it isn’t here
Inescapable.
Chorus: (Sharon & Nāt)
Save her, I can never heal this heart
Can you hear me?
Can you heal me?
Save her, I can never heal this heart
Can you hear me?
Can you heal me?
Bridge: ( Nāt & Sharon)
I’ve made my mind to make you go
This heart’s nothing but chemical
I’m clouded by this hope for more,
Urge is strong, but I can break it down
I’ve made my mind to make you go (Save her)
This heart’s nothing but chemical (Can you)
I’m clouded by this hope for more, (Can you)
Urge is strong, but I can break it down (Hear me)
I’ve made my mind to make you go
This heart’s nothing but chemical (Can you)
I’m clouded by this hope for more, (Heal me)
Urge is strong, but I can break it down (Ohhh)
Outro: (Nāt & Sharon)
Don’t let this faith fade away
There’s no one like you love.
No one for the soul.
Don’t let this faith flay away
Cause, I’m no more like my love.
No one for my soul.
Chorus: (Sharon)
Save her, I can never heal this heart
Can you hear me?
Can you heal me?
